Added in 2019, Bonnaroo's Where in the Woods offers a phenomenal late night experience. It's a can't miss for ravers and EDM fans alike, bringing a unique vibe to the festival that you can't find in Centeroo. If you've never been, you might have some questions - most of which are hopefully answered in this article. Here are some things you should know about Bonnaroo's Where in the Woods.

What is Where in the Woods?

By day, Where in the Woods is a relaxing place to hang your hammock. It offers a large shaded area similar to The Grove for Bonnaroovians to escape the mid-day sun. By night, it turns into a disco party featuring EDM performances, DJs, and surprise sets. This wooded area contains a few food and drink vendors, though it lacks a water station, so I advise bringing your own. Furthermore, Where in the Woods features activities and art installations.

When is the Best Time to Visit?

Where in the Woods is a great place to visit when there's nothing going on in Centeroo. The party often lasts until the wee hours of the morning, providing entertainment for the biggest night owls. Because it's in the campgrounds, Where in the Woods is the best place to hang out Tuesday and Wednesday before Centeroo opens for the weekend and Sunday night after Centeroo is cleared.

How to Find Where in the Woods

Where in the Woods is located on the east side of Outeroo near Plaza 2. It's not far from the arch entrance; when leaving Centeroo, take a right and you'll eventually run into it. A major perk of its location? You can bring your own alcohol, just like anywhere else in the campgrounds.

What Else Should I Know?

As one of the only late night hangout spots, Where in the Woods draws quite the crowd. There’s only one entrance/exit, so prepare to wait in line before and after major acts. Fortunately, there are two emergency exits. The area can also get pretty muddy, and there aren’t an abundance of porta-potties. Despite the crowd, those with ADA passes need not worry - Where in the Woods has an ADA viewing area.

Where in the Woods is a fantastic place to hide from the sun, meet up with friends, and dance the night away. If you're a fan of EDM or partying long after the rest of the world closes its eyes, you won't want to miss this wooded gem.
